Walk & Talk therapy in Chicago, IL

  • Walk & Talk therapy is just how it sounds! We meet to walk during session in nature. Physical movement can support in processing, and being in nature has benefits for mental health.

  • Walk & Talk can be for anyone, whether you use a wheelchair, want to bring your pet, or need to bring baby in a stroller. The pace is set by you and is not meant to be a "workout." Your sessions will still be focused on your overall mental wellness. Note that this is an option only for Illinois clients.

  • Our Walk & Talk therapy follows ethics codes. We have specific informed consent for this with confidentiality considerations, and will explicitly discuss your preferences in how to navigate situations!

  • We always have the option for virtual if safety and/or focus for session could be compromised by weather. With the seasons of Chicago varying, we can discuss what feels like a good plan!

  • We are typically meeting at W. Belmont Ave and N. Sheridan Rd. to start our walk on the walking paths going into Lincoln Park and/or the Lake!
